Penny Lane

The famous street that inspired one of The Beatles’ most iconic songs.

Strawberry Fields

The childhood escape of John Lennon that became a symbol of imagination and reflection. We stop for a break here if we have time!

Houses of John, Paul and Ringo

See the childhood homes where three Beatles grew up before worldwide fame.

Eleanor Rigby's Grave

The resting place linked to the name behind one of The Beatles’ most haunting songs.

Sefton Park & The Palm House

Famously visited for photoshoots and inspiration.

St Peter's Church Hall

The place where John Lennon and Sir Paul McCartney first met in 1957.

The Schools of John, Paul and George

FAQs

Find answers to questions we often get asked about our Liverpool tours.

Can I book on the same day?

Online booking closes at 9pm the previous day unless there is already a tour running and if there is space then you can book online up to an hour before the tour starts.

Can we stop at Strawberry Fields if we prefer more time?

We aim to spend 45 minutes at Strawberry Fields but it all depends on what time we get there. We always leave at 12pm or 4.30pm so we try and give you as much time as possible, as this is the restroom / refreshments break.

What's the typical group size, and is it family-friendly?

We keep groups small and friendly – usually 6 people, but occasionally more. The tour is family-friendly for teens and older children who are confident cyclists. If you’re booking as a family, just let us know in advance so we can tailor the experience.

Can we book a private tour just for our group?

Yes, you can! We offer private Beatles tours which are perfect for families, friends, birthdays, or Beatles super fans who want something extra special. Get in touch and we’ll arrange it all for you.

How fit do I need to be? I haven't been on a bike for years.

Not to worry! Our electric-assisted bikes do most of the hard work for you. As long as you can ride a standard bike and feel confident with basic balance and steering, you’ll be absolutely fine.

Are the routes safe and traffic-free?

We use quiet roads, cycle paths, and parks as much as possible, and we always ride at a steady, relaxed pace. Safety is a top priority, and your guide will brief you before we set off and keep the group together throughout.

What happens if the weather turns bad?

We’re used to a bit of rain in Liverpool, and the tour usually goes ahead rain or shine. We provide waterproof covers, but if the weather becomes unsafe (e.g. heavy storms), we’ll get in touch to rearrange or offer an alternative.

Who are your guides and what stories do they share?

Our guides are local, friendly, and full of Beatles knowledge – not just the big headlines, but the funny, surprising, and emotional stories too. Expect a mix of history, music, humour, and the odd personal insight that brings the places to life.

Can this tour be combined with other activities, like walking or pub tours?

Yes! Lots of guests book a walking tour or pub crawl on the same day for a full Liverpool experience. We’re happy to help you plan a combination that fits your schedule – just let us know what you’re interested in. We also offer a Beatles Walking Tour Through Liverpool City Centre.
