FAQs
Find answers to questions we often get asked about our Liverpool tours.
Can I book on the same day?
Online booking closes at 9pm the previous day unless there is already a tour running and if there is space then you can book online up to an hour before the tour starts.
Where exactly does the tour begin?
We meet just by the statue of The Beatles at the Pier Head, just by The Liver Buildings. It’s central, easy to find, and surrounded by some of Liverpool’s most beautiful buildings.
Are there any hidden gems not mentioned on this page?
Absolutely! While we list the big highlights, we also sneak in a few surprises depending on the group, time, and mood. Expect quirky stories, tucked-away courtyards, secret statues, and unexpected Beatles references.
What is the walking difficulty level and pace?
The pace is nice and gentle – think stroll, not sprint. It’s suitable for most people with a basic level of mobility, and we include short stops along the way to take in the sights (and catch your breath if needed!).
Is the tour suitable for families with children or older travellers?
Yes, very much so. We’ve had guests aged 8 to 80+, and everyone’s welcome. If you’re unsure about anything like distance or rest stops, just let us know and we can advise or adjust accordingly.
Is the tour accessible by wheelchair?
Most of the route is accessible, but there are a few uneven cobbled streets and slopes. If you’re using a wheelchair or have specific mobility concerns, please get in touch before booking and we’ll do our best to accommodate or suggest an alternative route.
What happens if it rains — will the tour be cancelled?
We’re in Liverpool – a little rain never stops us! Bring a brolly or waterproof and we’ll carry on. If the weather gets truly wild (we’re talking sideways rain), we’ll get in touch to discuss options.
Can this tour be combined with other activities, like walking or pub tours?
Yes! Lots of guests book a cycling tour or pub crawl on the same day for a full Liverpool experience. We’re happy to help you plan a combination that fits your schedule – just let us know what you’re interested in. We also offer a Beatles Walking Tour Through Liverpool City Centre.
